How The Diaspora Minds Lab Works

Start by becoming part of our community. Whether you’re a creative, entrepreneur, thinker, or doer, we welcome all who have a desire to either start a venture, an enterprise or simply want to find partners to either collaborate or partner in a venture.  Here’s how we do it: some basic details about you, and get a general sense of what you're looking for. Your application will be screened and we will let you know if the Minds Lab is ideal for you.

Once you become a Lab mate, we will help you connect with others in the diaspora who share your vision — people you can build with, learn from, or partner with across borders.

Diaspora Minds lab is made up of entrepreneurs or those who are serious of starting on the journey of entrepreneurship. It is an opportunity to contribute to a community of like minded people.

Join a Lab or Idea Circle

Participate in themed Labs or smaller “Idea Circles” where members brainstorm, share resources, and co-develop projects — from  business concepts and investment opportunities in African countries especially in Ghana. 

These are a great opportunity to get your questions asked, support other members of the community, or generally come hang out and stay in touch.

Build Something Together

We support collaborations that go beyond talk — helping members turn ideas into real-world impact through mentorship, partnerships, and access to tools.

Stay Rooted, Stay Connected

We keep culture at the center. Whether through in-person gatherings, digital storytelling, or return-home pilgrimages, we reconnect our minds and spirits to the continent — especially Ghana, our cultural heart.

Participate in Courses and Workshops

Members have the opportunity to participate in specially organised resource theme workshops. These themed workshops will be led by specially picked resource persons who are experts in their field.
